GreenStack Moving Bins rents reusable moving bins in Toronto. This page explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

When you fill in the booking form on this site, you give us:

  • Your name and email address (required)
  • Your neighbourhood or location (required)
  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it
  • The date you need bins, the package or bin count you want, and any notes you add

We also collect basic technical information automatically when you visit, such as your approximate location, browser type, the pages you view, and the site or ad that sent you here.

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit to contact you about your request, confirm your delivery and pickup window, answer questions, and provide the rental itself. We use the technical information to understand which pages and ads work, so we can improve the site.

We will not sell your information, rent it, or share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who else handles your information

We use a small number of third-party services to run this site. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:

  • Formspree receives and delivers your form submission to our email.
  • Vercel hosts the website and processes standard server request logs.
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram) receives website activity through the Meta Pixel, which lets us measure our ads and show them to relevant people. This may include a hashed version of information you submit.
  • Our analytics provider records anonymous usage statistics such as page views and referral sources.

These providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising measurement. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also limit ad tracking in your Facebook and Instagram ad settings, or through your device's privacy controls. Blocking them will not stop you from using this site or submitting the form.

How long we keep it

We keep booking enquiries for as long as we need them to serve you and to keep ordinary business records, and no longer than two years after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Keeping it secure

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted securely. Access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond to you. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. You can also withdraw your consent at any time, though that may mean we can no longer provide the service you asked for. Email us and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
